Receptionist

The primary responsibility of the RBA Receptionist is to provide exceptional hospitality to all guests. Secondary responsibilities includes administrative support, variety of project work including assistance with special events. This position will report to the Office Manager while working closely with the Corporate Services Team.

Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1-5 p.m. Due to supporting limited special events, some evenings and/or weekend time will be required with advance notice provided.

This position become full-time based on business needs. RBA does not guarantee if/when an increase in hours could occur.

Essential Functions

  1. Greeting all guests, clients, vendors and employees. Includes managing visitor access badges.
  2. Answering phones; routing calls
  3. Mail/fax processing and distribution.
  4. Manages the shared conference room calendar including resolving any scheduling conflicts.
  5. Maintains internal Contact E-Cards
  6. Orders, organizes office and break room supplies
  7. Maintain and pick up conference rooms
  8. Maintain cleanliness of shared kitchens and break-rooms.
  9. Other duties as assigned*

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and supporting back-office systems. Competent in using Microsoft Office suite of tools.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Lifting of various items (i.e. laptop) should not exceed 50 lbs.

Required Education and Experience

  1. High School diploma or GED.
  2. General working knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. Previous hospitality or receptionist experience a plus
  2. Previous administrative and/or multiple project work a plus
